If you are traveling outside of fruit season, then you will need to venture further into the forest to meet wild Sumatran Orangutans.
Since the Ketambe forest trekking is mostly up and down hills, crossing rivers, there are more opportunities for rain (we will enter the tropical rain forest of Sumatra).
It is recommended for visitors to use trekking poles, rubber boots, ponchos (raincoats) which are always useful in your daily package.
